In Trilokpur, Belghat Block, Gorakhpur District, a Shoudah Ghar (55×35 meters, Plot No. 508, 510) was being constructed at a cost of ₹24.36 lakh. However, UPIDA and the Revenue Department found it violating standard regulations and subsequently demolished it.
The village head (Gram Pradhan) stated that a letter had been sent to the Revenue Department before the construction began, informing them about the project, but no action was taken at that time.
Administrative Investigation and Action
After conducting an investigation, UPIDA and the Revenue Department declared the construction an encroachment and took strict action by demolishing it. The District Magistrate and his team are actively inspecting the site, and steps are being taken to prevent further encroachments.
The administration has assured that strict measures will continue against illegal constructions and violations of standard regulations in the future.
