Under the auspices of Pt. Harisahay PG College, Jaiti-Belghat, Gorakhpur, a block-level competition was organized as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. The event featured various literary, cultural, and sports competitions, including bag race, spoon race, kho-kho, kabaddi, 100-meter and 200-meter races, rangoli, painting, debate, speech, group dance, folk singing, and more.
The two-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all primary, junior, secondary, and higher educational institutions of the Belghat block. The college appointed Mr. Avnindra Shukla and Dr. Shailesh Mishra as coordinators for cultural programs, while Mr. Vijay Chaudhary, Dr. Kamalakant Mishra, Mr. Satyabhaskar Chauhan, and Mr. Ajay Mishra were selected as judges. Additionally, Mr. Ram Suresh, Mr. Virendra Kumar, Mr. Satyapal, and Mr. Shiv Kumar coordinated the sports competitions.
The list of winners has been sent to the university for participation at the district level. The college manager, Mr. Akhilesh Dubey, and Principal, Dr. Sarvesh Dubey, congratulated all the winners and wished them success in the upcoming competitions.
